There were freaks and hippies in my high school. Football players all tryin’ to be cool and everybody scramblin’ to hide their beer when the cops drove by ‘til the coast was clear. Kids fallin’ in and out of love on the hood of Chevys, in the beds of trucks. We were stumblin’ our way through life ‘til our senior year but man we sure did learn a lot.
It’s like the bottom of the 9th and I’m never gonna win this.
Every flower that blooms has to go through a lot of dirt.

I don’t know if I believe in God. I’ve been told what tithing and believe my whole life and now I’m questioning that. There can’t be someone/thing “listening” and “answering” our prayers. Things happen as they will. If there is a God… He/she must not like me very much. I go to school in the “bible belt” and everyone is so religious....

Though I’ve made some bad choices in my life but at one point those choices were what made me happy at the time, I would never wish I hadn’t done them because all of those choices brought me to where I am right now and honestly, I’m really happy with the way things are going.
